Our Rates

|
PROJECTS: We're happy to talk about specific project goals and negotiate rates based on the project.
BANDS: We prefer to produce original and creative music, and we know most bands are POOR! So we have made significant efforts to keep our rates affordable without sacrificing quality. To schedule time, please call the studio at (608) 225-2252.
RATES:
Standard rate is $40/hr, pro-rated in 15 minute intervals (minimum charge 1 hour), including engineer. We offer lower rates for projects requiring more time and effort.
BOOKING & DEPOSITS:
Times are reserved with a deposit. The deposit amount is $40. This deposit is applied to the first hour(s) of studio time. Deposited sessions may be rescheduled with 48 hour notice. Deposit is not refundable within 48 hours of scheduled session.
PAYMENT:
We accept cash, check, or PayPal. Full payment is expected at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. In all cases, the current balance must be "0" for any CD proofs and/or masters to leave the studio.
Archiving/Backing Up Data:
We highly recommend that you bring a portable hard drive to back up all your work after each session. Should you choose not to archive your work, we will take reasonable precautions to insure safety of your data, but we can not guarantee it.
FYI:
In the end, it's all about getting you to sound great. And we know you want to sound great or you wouldn't come here. The most critical ingredients to achieving a good sounding final product are 1) good performances, and 2) enough time to hone the mix and/or edit the performance as necessary. Our reasonable rates mean you can spend more time on your performances and mixes, giving you a better final product. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.
